Team Scattered this Weekend

This coming weekend, February 26th, the Spine Team will be scattered in three directions as shown on our Racing Schedule link above.  We'll have riders competing in Savannah (GC Omnium - Davies, Crisp), Dahlonega (Southern Cross - Jordan), and Greenville, SC (Winter training races - J Clayton).

Greenville training races

In Greenville, on of our team rookies, Trey Crisp, got into a 6-man break mid-race on Saturday but was brought back.  On Sunday, he took 7th in the final sprint in a field of 60+ riders. Nice early season racing in Greenville for @neurocycling.

Tundra Time Trial 2011

The Georgia Neurosurgical Institute Cycling Team kicked off the season by collecting three podium spots at the Tundra Time Trial in Dallas, Georgia. Chad Davies continued his string of wins by taking the top spot in the Masters 45+ division. Ron Hill took 2nd in the Masers 55+ and Lauren Clayton took 3rd in Category 3. Drew Slocum and Robert Jordan also had top ten finishes.
